Had the chance to see this @Buttskevin21 bumper in person the other week and I was very impressed. It is really well made, welds are all dimes, provisions geared towards ease of install, practical winch access, practical recovery point placement, (protects winch hawse), improved approach angle being flush with front grille, powder coat finish is done right with anti-corrosion primer. Just a really well made, well thought out piece of equipment. Should sell quick.

 

Nah, I got it for free from @tacotunner06 when I bought his steel tailgate panel. So if anything I added weight lol. Sold the tailgate for 150 the same day. Basically got the part for free and made 50 bucks

I saw that on FB too. I would consider that "not good" list as more "there's some serious stuff broken and still want a lot" list

 

I always like how the solutions to car issues are always "simple fixes"... if they are so simple, then why doesn't the seller just get it fixed?

 

my problem is it’s an 06….so still gonna have head gasket issues around 250k probably and the motor mount issue. A/c is probably a leak since the seals are 15 years old and probably need a charge. The add can be expensive if you buy an actuator from Toyota though. But for 25k…maybe like 18-20 max…

 

When I sell a vehicle I try and get the "doesn't work" list down to 1 maaaaybe 2 things, unless it's a silly cheap POS.

I'm remotely interested. Not sure I'd want to drop $200 and still have to work out the mounts. Spent a few minutes on the Rhino Rack and couldn't find the feet. I'll call tomorrow and see what they can do.

 

It has the RLT600 legs, but no feet or locks.

Either way, I suggest using 6 mounting points to spread the load over more area if you wanted to use it for heavier stuff like a RTT. Of course these suggestions are based off of mounting it on the canopy. These pieces and/or any replacement parts seem to be easier and cheaper on eBay, but require more digging around to put together a list.

 

Washed the dirt and grime off to give a better idea. You can see the white paint streaks and wear better here. It's cold outside, so it didnt dry very well.

I can confirm the RLTP legs fit perfectly with the rails and are lower profile than the RLT600 set.

I'll toss in an unused CH4x4 dual switch for a Snickers bar.

If no takers by next week, I'm going to modify it for use inside my bed.
