I have a line on some used 35” geo landers if my 275/80/17 MTRs don’t come back in stock. They have been on back order since July and my tires aren’t getting younger. I’m hoping to be ready for 37s before I have to buy all brand new again. I have one truck payment left. I can get after it and do the really irreversible mods.

Tacoma (2nd and 3rd Gen) Front Bilstein 5100’s with OME 888 coils. I’ll throw in the 1/4” top spacer for taco lean prevention. 15K on them, no issues, just upgraded to something else. $250


3rd Gen Stock spindles for a 4x4. Very straight with 20K on them. Just replaced with gusseted spindles. $180

I put this same shock/coil setup (on the bottom notch) from a 2nd gen on my 2020 OR AC and it gave me a perfect 2" in the front! Awesome setup, I was sweating it was going to be too much and give me closer to 3"+...
How much lift did you get with them on your truck?

It gave me about 1.5” or so but I have an access cab. Typically we get smaller lifts than other configurations.

I was doing irreversible mods a few months out of owning my truck

I heard good things about the geo landers but the 35s only come in E range and I only like C range due to how they drive and air down. I love my MTRs.

 

@Buttskevin21 any interest in getting a spindle exchange going? I'd like to get some gusseted spindles on my truck and then trade out the stock ones for the next guy to get gussets.

 

Be rad to work something like that out! Was actually just messaging @WrecklessAbandon and a couple other buddies about spindle gussets. Pretty cheap upgrade to do really, gussets are fairly cheap and there's not much welding involved so it'd be a low price in the end, and one well worth it. I've actually brainstormed buying a couple sets of new spindles to start, but they aren't the cheapest, even off-brand ones.

 

That would be awesome! I was able to get in on a front diff exchange with guys on here a few years ago (thanks @Shadowhunter) and swap my front diff with no down time so if we could do that with spindles too i would be very grateful!

Could definitely get a gusseted spindle swap going. Could basically just sell a gusseted spindle ready for you to swap in, and then give a refund for the stock spindle after you swap them out. Or, I can swap them if needed/when I have the time.

Just need to round up a couple sets of spindles and order some gussets, and I would be going with @drtfabrication gussets as they are the most beefy and best looking gussets out there! Unless you want to run a sway bar, then would have to order some TC or other alike ones.

 

I'll have a spare set of spindles once i get off my ass and put mine on.
