I did this once with a cable/internet company. They botched an install, stapled through the cable line on the exterior of my house, internet was crap from a while. I eventually diagnosed the problem, called them to come out and fix it, then they sent me a bill for the service!

In turn, I disputed their bill (which they rescinded) and then billed them for the same amount. I sent them 30, 60, and 90-day late notices when they didn't pay. Then a letter explaining I would send them to corporate collections (a real thing) at 120 days. They eventually cut me a check for my $50-ish, probably to just shut me up. But hey, it worked.

Bottom line: there should be consequences for being dumb and wasting peoples' time. Hold them accountable!

Posting this as a warning, don't bother with this guy. Not only was he an hour + late, the tires are not "like new", they have less than 50% left, 1 had a sidewall cut through the rubber, another had a cut through the entire knobs about 30". 2 of the rest were ok, except one had some sticky shit all over it. The last was brand new, and I probably should have grabbed it, but I was pretty annoyed by that point.

He's at least had those tires since 2017 based on his picture:

He was an idiot. Tweaker probably. Said he had certificates, I think they're only good for 2 years. Even so, replacements don't really exist
