    If your looking for some gears to help with MPGs look in to cam gears. I picked up 1-1.5 after I did mine. @Kidwidataco had them installed recently and could chime in about how his are treating him.

    I've definitely noticed a nice MPG improvement. Combined with the lighter wheels, I'd say I easily picked up 2-2.5 mpgs. Going to do the HP tuners tune soon as well. With the lower rpm at highway speeds it offers, I'll probably pick up another 1 mpg, and be close to 20 highway

    Weird, I just installed 5.29's from ECGS (I'm on 33's) and it's a big improvement. The truck lives in 6th now.

    HP Tuning will really wake everything up, especially with cam gears. Better drivability, better shifting, more power and better MPG's. Definitely the best money I've spent on the truck.

    You can squeeze a little more out with a XTP spacer under your surge tank and headers. Not quite the bang for the buck as the tune and cam gears though.

    Same experience here; 35s and 4.88s. The pick up is real nice but the high rpms, low mpgs, on the highway is a bummer lol. Planning on 37s eventually, which is why I went with the 4.88s, and will bring the rpms down a bit; more rubber to spin though.
    Cam gears eh? Might have to look into that. Highway rpms have me wishing I had a 7th gear lol.
    Thanks for the feedback! Lower rpms on the highway sounds very appealing.

    cam swap was a bitch. tuning is tbd on hp upgrade. sweet sound. going 430's or 456's some day so i can melt 35's at will.

    Lower freeway rpms would be from the tune, the gears offer MPH and a bit of power/responsiveness
