I went to get those actually. Dude was a tweaker and they were fucking toasted, 2 had holes, and it was waaaay the fuck out in the sticks.

Unfortunately I'm not going through the hassle of removing a tire from the wheel until I have something to replace it with.

I guess when he says "less than 800 miles on them"... he meant "less than 800 miles LEFT on them"

    That sucks!

He was 2 hours late, kept saying I'm almost there, had to follow him out to his tweaker trailer in bfe. The tires were the same as in his profile pic from like 2017. 1 was brand new, I regret not just taking it as asshole tax.
Also, kept saying he'd just get them replaced with the certificates. Aren't those good for like 2 years?

That's real interesting to hear and certainly a bummer if true. Not even sure how that could be legal. Guess it depends on what that inspection is exactly and what purpose it serves if they are still allowed to sell the ones that don't pass. Warranties are all well and good but doesn't do anything for the frustration of breaking down on the trail. Geeze, yeah after all that work I don't blame ya for not wanting to mess with it anymore!
Always sucks to hear someone say the previous person did a shit job. Maybe it just depends on who works on it at ECGS. Some people are just better at their job than others. Hope mine are good but I haven't had a reason to open them up and get a second opinion.

Im guessing there’s no need, but want to offer up a last minute TW express from Eugene, OR to Wendover, Utah. Will be departing Eugene this Thursday (4th) by noon with a return trip scheduled for the 13th. Also willing to adjust route through Reno if that makes anyones life easier as well as volunteering to push on to SLC area in case there’s a good BST deal for any fellow members.

Thanks! Somehow you made me hate it even more. Didn't think that was possible.

That’s a better guess than I had. I was thinking he was shooting for the Impreza look.

That has got to be the ugliest hybrid bumper I've ever seen.
