Haha, give no, torture yes. And they are pretty top quality, almost went longtravel but I think this will be my setup for quite awhile since it works just fine.

    Mine!

Factor55 fairlead and "hook". This includes the following:

    • 1.0 hawse fairlead (gray)
    • Flatlink E "hook" (gray)
    • Rope spool
All together, these items are $276 brand new from Factor55. Of course, what I'm selling is far from brand new. While all of the items are undamaged and function properly, as you can see, the sun has done a number on them. However, this won't affect their functionality, and there are no gouges or sharp edges to damage your winch line. Also, with the right amount of effort, they can be polished, anodized, painted, or powder coated.

I'm asking $150 for the set, but I'm open to reasonable offers... especially if you're an active member on TW.

A little late, but just a reminder that I'll be driving from Colorado Springs to Salt Lake City tomorrow and then SLC to Seattle on Sunday. Lemme know if y'all need something picked up along the way, got an empty 6' bed.

I'll be heading back down to CO in early September.

I replaced it with the Yankum hookless fairlead. I wanted a truly "metal-less" recovery system, so I replaced my hook and shackles for synthetic equivalents.

I also became an affiliate for Yankum Ropes, so I'm rocking a bunch of their gear. I picked up this kinetic rope as well.

How often do you use your winch?

Ahhh thats the company that makes that little system. Will go that route once my rope breaks a couple more times/once my hook gets totally destroyed

For myself never. But during our yearly snowpocalypse, I've used it a bit.

Excellent choice. The soft shackle end hook was a genius idea. I find I use my winch for more random shit than recovery. Like yesterday, dragged a lawnmower up the hill to my house with it

I find myself using it to move downed trees more than recovery. I still keep some chain and a steel shackle so I don’t destroy my synthetic gear dragging trees in the gravel. Only thing I’ve recovered with it was my truck onto a trailer after I had the fuel pump wiring incident.
