Currently running 650s on my Icon's. They're just old and figure it's time to replace them. Haven't been bad or anything.

I've got 5160s in the rear, so figured I'd go Bilstein 6112s up front to match as well as possible performance-wise.

I think I’m going to sell this. Got a great deal on it, brand new, never installed, demello aluminum front bumper for ‘05-‘09 w no hoop. Price is $2k firm. Hit me up if you have interest and I’ll unwrap it for some photos. PC’d in a grey but I haven’t even unwrapped it myself. It’s really nice from the photos I saw before buying it, but I think I’m going to stick with el lameo stock.

Demello makes nice shit. Shame this isn't for a 3rd gen, black, and with a hoop... so you know, a completely different bumper.

    Love my Demello aluminum Baja!

On another note, I found a 2019 RC62 manual tranny that I plan to swap into my 2014 DCLB. If anyone knows of someone parting out a manual tranny 2nd gen, 3rd gen or FJ Cruiser, please let me know. Also interested in any Toyota specific wrecking yards yall can recommend around Portland or central Oregon. Looking for the rest of the manual swap parts including clutch pedal assembly, e-brake assembly and the rest of the odds and ends. Thanks!!

Do it! Do it! $2k in your pocket is nice but you'd just waste it on nonsense like bills or groceries. Bumpers are a much better use of your funds or so I tell myself.

It’s not at all a money concern. It’s a build purpose.

My ‘05 is intended to be the stealth truck for parking in shady neighborhoods and not calling attention. So no aftermaket stereo, nothing worth stealing even if I left the doors unlocked.

This bumper is at odds with that goal.

For $2k and grey you'll probably be waiting awhile to offload it, better to just install and not worry about it anymore

    Where’s the E brake on an auto? There’s a 06’ brake/clutch pedal assembly on EBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1258758849...jvntqiqtxe&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

I believe the e-brakes are different between the generations. 2nd gen is on the right of the steering wheel on the dash like old Toyota trucks and 3rd gen is on the center console like a traditional hand brake. But I always appreciate the offer!!
