He has a thread. You can watch the “build” unfold on YouTube. He also has a shop rabbit.

He’s been building this for the past like 4 months, been posting about it In a fb group constantly. Surprised he’s selling it after all that work and never even took it out

Lots of rigs get built and sold without ever seeing action. I've seen it with motorcycles, trucks, cars, boats. I don't understand it personally

Seems like the pursuit for “perfection” leaves you with a vehicle that is unusable for one reason or another.

    I work
with one of those guys. Buys a Harley cherry’s it all out S&S engine, custom leather seat and paint. Rides it for a month and sells it to break even or lose money. Buys a fiberglass boat has the top chopped off new custom glass house and all refinished. New white custom seats, new engine and electronics and sells it without even putting it in the water. Now he’s $125k into a boat he picked up for $80k rode in it for the sea trials and two years later it’s almost done and it’s not what he wants and it going up for sale. It’s mind blowing. He also had started an old Ford panel van he had a drivetrain swap out of a newer F-150 that he traded for his glass work on boat #1. $9,500 into a Zodiac he took crabbing one summer. Same guy has an FJ knows I can build on it and tells me no way I want to leave it stock. Only mod he did was have his paint guy paint on fake buttons so it looks like the top is a snap on removable like a boat. o_O Reason to sell boat #2 is to sell the house too retire and buy a bigger boat and live on it like a pirate or some shit.

^^ sounds like stuff I would do. I’m pretty good at not finding action.

It looks like a RC car to me. Out of proportion. Wonder if the AR included?

To each their own i suppose, some people just enjoy the process of the build.
I said this to my buddy, we'll be seeing a bunch of COVID builds being sold off - people who wanted to get into this during COVID, sunk a bunch of money into their rigs and never using them/selling them. I feel like we've been seeing that. My only gripe is the the resistance to parting them out....

    Mine.

    ARB Twin compressor
ARB Compressor pump up kit (air lines and fittings)
    ARB Digital tire inflator

Compressor was mounted briefly on my 2nd Gen with a bed cubby kit, but never hooked up/used. I removed it when selling the truck. Other items are new in box. ARB wiring kit (new) and instructions included.

$800 in gear, I have it posted close to $500, looking to get ~$440.

I never got to run it, but I love the concept. The unit is way too large for my 1st Gen. While I was eager to hard mount a compressor to the 2nd Gen, I want to keep the 1st Gen a bit more classic and pure, so I'll just stick to my portable compressor.

I’ll take it off your hands. My 1st Gen needs one.
