oh wow 28k for that truck. I mean I wouldn't pay almost 30k for that but if I was looking for an older truck maybe I'd see if I could get that under 20k but that is a cash truck, no bank would finance it.

got to be in house or something. I'm not sure what bank would allow financing on a truck that old, even with the sub 60k. thought could be a "bonus" deal the dealer gets a bank to finance a car because they are pushing several deals thought a specific bank.

 

I believe the "norm" is no older than 10yr and/or 150k miles but exceptions can be made. Outside of the "norms", durations and rates change at the discretion of the banking institution. Ex - might only be a 3yr loan instead of 5yr. and might be 10% interest instead of 5% (or whatever)

Something else to consider is that a bank will only finance, at most, 120% of the book value of the vehicle.

 

At least the kind of banks that don’t kill your family or break your knee caps on loans like that

 

Put it on BAT and it would pry fetch that much. Pretty crazy what people are paying for older Toyota's in good condition.
