Is $120 fair? I havent done much aftermarket shopping for the taillights, just really hate the current chrome ones that came on the OR... I feel like $120 is worth it.

I think that's fair. They tend to average around that. You could hold out and hope for a sub $100 pair... but what is your time and effort worth?

I spent $250 on BNIB protails to replace my chrome ones. So you'll be doing better than me!

I'm very much a buy once/cry once type of gal. So its not necessarily the price that I'm concerned about rather finding out next week there is a better alternative, lol.. but I havent actually seen any aftermarket tails that I like.

    Same here.

Though honestly, with lighting you’ll never find the quality of OEM in the aftermarket. It’s just a matter of economics. The smaller companies either don’t have the budget, or won’t have the customer to invest in quality lights that last long and function well.

And with lighting being a safety feature, it’s best to not fuck with it IMO.

    100%

Unlike many things on these trucks, taillights don't just offer esthetics, they're a safety feature. It's been proven time and time again that OEM out performs aftermarket. In brightness, lifespan, and reliability... nearly every metric.

I have 3 sets of OEM tails and I like the SR’s the best.

I’m on the second set of aftermaket harnesses, vled tritons now, and I think I’ll maybe go to the non tritons to streamline the bulk. BLtheP prefers them and actually runs halogen bulbs for the reds. He says the switchback is brighter than the triton due to the reflector design. It’d be a fun thing to test out with gear.

I should really sell my 2020 pro tails w the clear, never liked them much, looks off on MGM. The stock chrome bucket was better but the black w full red is superb.
