Never mind - I was able to pimp my Tacoma with some chrome handles from a wrecking yard Corolla...

ISO - Inner door handle, black in color for my 2011 Tacoma, preferably somewhat close to Lake Stevens/Everett. My front passenger handle just broke. :(

    Thanks

Hello everyone, one of my good friends Tacomas got totaled. He is looking for stock suspension so that he can take his iron man kit off. I was wondering if anyone had their stock set that they are willing to give away or sell for super duper cheap. Thanks :)

It’s for a 3rd gen but 2nd gen parts work on 3rd gens.

Tire advice. I posted this in the main TacomaWorld posting area a while ago and got “0” feedback. I follow this thread daily and figured one of you hooligans could possible give me some…feedback.
I have had BFG M/T’s, BFG A/T’s and I’ve been through two sets of GoodYear Dura-Tracs. I run 285/75/16’s on my stock wheels.
    I’ve boiled it down to:
GoodYear DuraTrac R/T (Very limited reviews and feedback) Decent weight for an E.
Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T (Lame name, bit heavy, great Reviews)
Falken WildPeak At4W (Really heavy with very limited reviews)

Anyone running any of these with some Pacific NorthWest Daily driving feedback?

I’m tired of the noise but want traction in the Oregon rain. Mud traction and snow/slippery 32 degree roads is a plus.

Again, Sorry for a question on tires vs an ad. It’s just nice to reach out to a group that might be able to help out.

I’ll post an ad for something A.S.A.P

Oh, Hey. How ‘bout a 3rd gen Needle Bearing Removal tool for free. Free buyer, pays shipping.

Image taken from ECGS website. (However, mine doesn’t have a crack in it like the ECGS image)

I have run the bfg wildpeaks and Toyo A/Ts Toyo was my favorite and by far the lightest. None of them are great in the wet and snow they were all about equally OK. The Toyo were the quietest but none of them were that bad for road noise. I will be buying a set of tires for the new Tundra and it will be the Toyo.

Thanks for the feedback. Kinda wish the Toyo had a bit more aggressive looking sidewall. I bet in less than a year it will. Just to keep up with the trend. Too be honest, My current duratracs started getting really noisy about 2 months ago. The rain (down here in Oregon also came in about then.) I was hell bent on buying new tires but couldn’t make up my mind so I spent $100 on Amazon for a siping tool. Siped all four of my tires. Started off in a normal pattern just going across like normal. Then the more beers I drank the more crazy the siping pattern got. The noise level has actually gone down and the break free from a take off on wet roads is gone. Who woulda thought. Anyways, Appreciate the 2 cents and congrats on the Tundra. I fought the wife for a Tundra when we had Number 2 and she fought me tooth and nail. Aarrgh.

I'm still not sure about the Tundra. However we drove down to Portland last weekend and it was really nice being able to effortlessly pass people.

With my tune, and my 5.29’s the Tacoma does fine passing on I-5. The problem lies with my wife in the passenger seat. A 9yr old, a 4yr old, and our 13year old dog in the backseat. It’s tight. I’ve seen how much more room is in the Tundra. My only real issue is my Height. I feel like a little kid sitting behind the wheel.

I don't understand why anyone would want a double cab. Just get a full size

I bought a double cab Toyota didn’t sell 3rd gen manual TRDORs with an Access Cab in the US.

Also plenty of people don’t want the additional width or wheelbase of a full size over the already large Tacoma.
