I'd say their stronger. Their 1/4" aluminum vs the stock pop metal little plates that don't really protect much.

Depends on what you hit. They’re not for rock bashing, but they’ll protect from trail damage.

When I crushed one of mine I just switched them both out for black with these. I was destined to get a high clearance bumper eventually, and honestly the black looks good.

    Mine.

A.R.E. CX series canopy in Super White for a short bed (5ft). 2016-2023.
It's insulated, carpeted, has roof rails for a rack, has factory LED strips inside and LED pod inside, and third brake light. It also has the full flip down rear window, all windows are tinted, has the factory clothes hanger too. This thing is fully loaded with pretty much every factory option. It does have a little bit of cosmetic damage to the left rear corner. It is not structural at all and that's why I haven't bothered with fixing it. I've been running if for a couple of years now and love the canopy, but I just bought a Softopper so I don't need this anymore. I have it listed on Marketplace for $1700 but would sell for $1500 for someone on Tacomaworld.

I'd also entertain some trades too but cash is preferred.
I do need to get rid of it sooner rather than later due to a lack of space for it at my house.

I'm located in Eugene OR and am willing to travel within reason.

    Thanks!

Not mine. Don't miss out on the latest and hottest new Overlanding gear. With this sweet bit of kit, you can have fresh cream with your coffee or milk in your cereal, with no fear of spoilage.

Anyone have any skids for sale? Either aftermarket or factory. My factory engine skid looks like crater lake without the water and the bolt holes don’t have a prayer at aligning.

Not sure if you got an answer yet, but I gotta say, even if the Trail Gear does fit, those sticks look like they may be hard to modify. As you know, you're likely going to have to massage the stick position to get around your auto shifter assembly and to put the two just where you want them in your center console.

IMHO, Front Range has a much better solution for that and it's cheaper:
