Thanks, Chad! Yeah I am hopeful things will work out health wise.

We are looking into options that allow me to keep my truck but just get something else for daily driving/trips.

Kind of what we did with the runner. I just drive the Tacoma about 40 miles round trip for work, the occasional hunting trip and camping. Everything else is done in the runner. I thought about a RAV4 for a little family car but both my boys are now over 6’ tall so that would have been a little snug. Let me us know post surgery if we can help!!!

    Decided to sell my canopy.
It's only 2 months old or so. There is nothing wrong with it, it's just not what I am wanting.

It's all aluminum, comes with keys, has windoors, mounting panels on the inside and rails on the room for mounting cross bars or a rack. Its in great condition and is very solid.

I'm asking $1900 or would consider a partial trade for other parts or maybe a white fiberglass canopy.

    Thanks for looking.

Thanks a ton, I really appreciate it. We have a RAV4 and like it a lot, a bit snug for me at 6’6”. And my wife loves it too much to trade it in for something bigger lol

Haha yeah my oldest son and I are 6’4 and it was a little snug for us too. My wife and youngest are both 5’10 and I feel like that would be the limit for comfort really. Maybe a smaller family!

How do you guys even fit in a Tacoma?! lol.

Sometimes I'm glad i'm short (not quite even 5'6"). Gives lots of leg room for any rear passengers, that's for sure. When we went and looked at Super duty crew cabs the amount of space behind the driver seat when I'm comfortable is hilarious.

I'm 6ft and grew up in Toyota mini trucks/SUV's. My 2nd gen DCLB feels like an aircraft carrier compared to those rigs when I'm in the woods but I always miss our full-size farm truck when the family is loaded up out of the woods. I need a Go-Go Gadget Extend-A-Truck. C'mon, The Future!

At least we know you have plenty of room to stand up in that Habitat.

We normally take the 4Runner when it’s the 4 of us. For me, I was tall when I started driving but loved the 80s Toyota pickups and 4Runners so I’ve always been use to the smaller tight quarters I guess. I switched to the large full sized ford f250 and Cummins 2500 while we were with car seats and the kids rode with us all the time, now they’re older and don’t like to hang out with dad as much anymore, I got back to the trucks I like! Sometimes I do wish I was a bit shorter!

They haven’t finalized this stuff yet but from past experience it seems like pretty much all the big names exhibit, plus lots of smaller regional vendors. My experience between this and the NW Overland Rally is this is at least 5 times bigger, with LOTS more vendors.

I enjoyed the classes at both, but I thought the keynote speakers and classes at the Rally last year were top notch. You can also drive the tech course at the Rally for no additional fee, but if you’ve driven off road much that’s not a good selling point, because both tech courses are pretty tame.

Of note, Overland Expo pulls more instructors and vendors from overseas (Australia, UK, South Africa), while the instructors at the Rally are mostly from the US and Canada.

I bought my tickets this morning, and the general admission fee for vehicle and driver had not increased, but the passenger fee went up $22.

Both mine, selling off the aftermarket parts to trade in the truck for something I can drive long distance. I'm located in Ellensburg, WA.

Is it a fuel mileage thing or comfort long distance?

Is this a tilt or just straight slide out?
