    I was reading the quality of best top isn't near as good as soft topper, and the 2nd gen/3rd gen bed sides are a little different so it won't fit 100% right. Thanks though!

    maybe if you slotted out those holes where it attaches to the rails. I have CBI bed bars that fit both because their slotted. I think the 2nd gen rail is down a bit lower.

    I've had mine since last July and haven't had any issues. I have the oem rubber bed mat so the little bit of water that got in, the last time it really poured, went right under mat and out the truck.

    Nope. I've slept under it a few times in the rain and the only place I noticed water coming in was from the bottom corners by the cab. I'll send you some pics of where I'm talking about.
