    Seriously, they want your money and they want to make deals. I was amazed at how big their lot was. Never been to a dealership like that before.


    On a side note, didn't even have the truck 24 hours and I found out my brother left my passenger window down all night after letting him give it a spin.....:annoyed:

    Negative. That only applies for items SHIPPED to you. Tax rate in Washington is "destination based", and "destination" is where you actually take possession of it. So even if you live in Renton and buy a car in Olympia, you pay Olympia sales tax, not Renton.

    Otherwise when you by stuff at Home Depot, Ikea, etc, they'd have to know your address to charge you different tax rates.

    Now, if you buy a car "private party" and have to pay the Use Tax when you go to register the car in your name, then they charge you the tax based on your Address, as they consider that where you "took possession" of the vehicle.
