It doesn't strike me as too over-priced actually. It does have front and rear ARB lockers, regeared, with a compressor, King suspension, Fuel wheels running 35s, leather interior and a small fortune in FrontRunner racks, plus a canopy.

At retail some of those bits are:
ARB front and rear, with regear and compressor: $3,500? ($950 for each locker, $250 for a compressor, and $1,000 for regearing (parts plus labor)?
Front Runner Cab and Cap: $1,700
    Leer Canopy: $2,000
    Katzkin: $1,000?
    Kings and rear leafs: $3,330
SPC UCA: $450 (looks like it from the pictures, not mentioned specifically)
    Fuel wheels: $700

Those add up to $12,680 for new. At 50% off retail for "used" equipment, unknown installer, lifespan, wear&tear, etc. Let's call it $6,000 worth of "value-add". Shoot, drop it down to $4,000 - $5,000 for the "value-add" stuff, and you might get the truck down to $27,000/$28,000.

If you are looking for that EXACT setup, I think you'd be hard pressed to beat it. But realistically, he would be better off trying to part some of it out.

    Yes I did.

I'm now toying with the idea of making a set of my own, that check all of my boxes (height, color, width... etc). So my Mobtown bars may be up for sale eventually, but I've got no timeline for that.

Custom bars would be the way to go. What specs were lacking with the mobtown?

The bars originally came with silver 80/20 15-series bars

    Silver Bars.jpg

So I swapped them out for black anodized bars

    Black Bars.jpg

That took care of the color... but now the height is bothering me. They sit about 6.5" above the tonneau cover. According to Mobtown, this is designed for the roll up covers to fit underneath. For me, it just blocks too much of my view. Initially I was considering cutting the uprights down... but this would be more work than it's worth for a band-aide solution. Instead, I'll probably work with my father's laser metal cutting/fab shop to have some uprights made... While I'm at it, I'll probably also use the double width bars, as I think they have better proportions, not to mention more mounting real-estate.

    https://8020.net/1530-s-black.html

We'll see where I get with this... it's pretty low priority for me.

Doing it for work... I'll split the driving over both Thursday and Friday.

I've driven from Bothell to Klamath Falls in 1 day for work before... so long road trips are nothing new.
