It's not a thing with a simple answer, never gonna be. If you can't figure out how to not get in trouble on a snowy road, make an alcohol filled christmas drink and stay inside. Different things work in different conditions and situations.

Edit: in hindsight, this sounds like I'm implying that you can't drive in the snow. In fact I was just trying to change the subject, since opinions are like assholes, with this current debate.

You mean it's not good when you can see the rear axle of the trailer out your passenger side window and thinks it's nascar trying to pass you?


If I had chains and only had 2 and found myself in a situation that they would be beneficial, I'd install one on the right rear and the other of the front left. With the right throttle control you should be able to move, and also turn while keeping lateral traction in the event of swerving or rounding a sharp corner.

 

Damn that's good deal for a protec headache rack. Too bad it's not closer I'd be on my way. Even if it's not PC black.
