If you paid full price for these I would be getting in touch with RRW and getting a refund.
I pretty much see them at highly reduced prices all the time. So if you got them at a discount and you’re relying on scarcity to make a buck off the situation the manufacturer created, then more power to you. I’m not judging.

 

If I went and got it, clean it up, fixed any damage, then ya. I'd post it for more than I bought it for. If i just went and bought it to resell. I'd add like 100 bucks for my time and gas.

 

But mostly post it up for trades for things I could use.

 

I paid $440 for the wheels ($220 each) and $60 for the shipping. This totals to $500. I'm just trying to make what I paid and will deliver to whoever buys (within reasonable distance). And it's also obo so I'm not stuck on $500.

I would love to return them but RRW's return is crazy. There is a 25% restocking fee and the original shipping is deducted from the refund amount, and I would also have to cover the cost of shipping them back. That would mean I spent $500 and only got back $230 when you add all the numbers up. I wasn't willing to do this. My mistake for buying the wrong offset in the first place.

 

You don't have to justify or explain your price. Your price is your price, either they'll sell or they won't

 

This is a situation (sadly) where scarcity will hurt, as the opportunity to make a full set doesn’t exist. So the seller needs to actively track down a current owner and see if they want them as a backup (for damage) or for use as a spare. Or as noted, for matched use on a trailer.

But that will be like finding a specific needle in a stack of needles...

I sometimes think about you (not in a weird way) when I sell stuff on the forum since you sold me some soldout meso items for a really great price. I try to remember to pay it forward, but shit sometimes theres a red light ticket you need to pay.

 

You don’t have to, but if you have a legit story it can’t hurt.

Most people think if they’re not getting a great deal they’ll just buy new for a few $ more. People generally like brand new stuff over used. If someone has a good story and didn’t use, or lightly used the item, and are just trying to get most of their money back it matters to me. As a buyer you get what you want and help someone get out from under something they don’t need. Mutually beneficial deal.
Moderately to heavily used stuff is a whole other story.

Hahaha. I forgot about those. But yeah, when you have the golden ticket, you've got to sell it for gold. But generally speaking, I'd like to see everyone here help each other out. I'm glad you're happy with those turn signals. I bought them for an active duty guy, who was worried he'd be deployed when they dropped. Turned out he was able to get some, so I sold the pair that I bought for him... at a loss. Money comes and goes, but helping someone out that needs some help lasts a lot longer than $20 in my pocket ever will. I'm no saint, but be good to each other. That's what makes this place fun.
