I randomly saw this photo on Google while I was looking at some gun mods. I had to sign up this site just to leave a comment here because I've seen this car and met the guy at the shooting range. Guys this car is legit. It looks way better in person. I was looking at it in my truck while he was shooting like he's got no tomorrow(100% pro shooter. seriously the ping sound from targets never stopped) and was doing some explosive stuffs but I did get a chance to chat with him and he told me about the rig. Everything seemed meant to work and solid not just for showing. I mean shit I think it looks awesome too. I was asking about the lights on the sides, he said it was for the crews driving at the back so they don't have to run strong light to see around and blind people driving in front. I asked him what does he do for living and he said he is an artist doing some painting and barely go outside so it made me a bit confused. I thought he'd be like bounty hunter or something! He told me later on that hes a member of some private shooting range but sometimes gets out in the pit for more intense shooting drills and in the meantime do some test on his car.

Anyways, trucks go like 30mph on the road there before things go weird. Cars go like maybe 20 or lower. He was taking like at least 60mph with no issue. The car sounded good too.

 

Still only has 2wd and only 30" tires. I'd find it hard to believe that thing could go 60 in spots our trucks could only go 30.

 

yeah and driving speeds often depend as much or more on the driver anyway

 

Yeah it's a totally ridiculous and mostly useless thing to have. I would take basically anything with 4x4 over that if I was building a bugout rig, but it's still pretty sweet. It reminds me of the Thomas Crown Affair Shelby and the replica of it that Gas Monkey built.

 

Oh I would still 100% drive that mustang if it were given to me or it fell into my lap somehow. I bet that sparks all sorts of conversations

 

Lol side note, just because someone is shooting steel, does not make them a pro shooter. Almost anyone can take an AR and shoot at steel 30 yards away and never stop the ping sound.

 

it sounds like the guy who made the car is the kinda of person I want to party with. that reddit post was almost unreadable, i don't understand half the stuff he was trying to say
