Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of a spare?

Damn I never thought something like that would be so hard to get rid of... If they didn't need new uniballs, I'd think about it and just sell mine as-is so I wouldn't have to deal with the process.

Most of us carry some sort of an inflation device. Either onboard air or a portable pump. The spare is there in case you get a hole in a tire.

Im all honestly I’d be happy with 300 for them. I doubt it would cost too much to do the uniballs and you could even buy a new set of bushings and have a new set for way less than they would cost new

Yeah myself included, but can't say I've ever deflated a tire just to store it under the bed... In my pre-OBA days I have however needed a spare and once it was out from under the truck it was flat...

PMd you, and in the meantime I’ll look up how much it cost for a rebuild. Can you post a pic of the item to show condition?

My previous car had a mini spare that only fit under the trunk uninflated and it came with a small cigarette lighter adapter air pump for it.

My M3 didn't come with a spare... just a cigarette lighter pump with an "M" branded on it. I kept the pump when I traded it in.

They called the tires "run flats", eventhough, technically, they are not.

Yeah, definitely wouldn't trust them. I thought I took out the air pump when i traded it in, but guess not. Thing was pretty handy for small tires.

Wait, what? All this time I've been carrying around two sets of tires, one with full pressure and another set that's aired down.

I live in KFalls in the weekends. Maybe we could arrange a TWExpress if you were interested in it?

I'd totally do that if you're willing. I'll pay $150 (Venmo or PP) to you now... anything you negotiate with the owner, you can keep. How close to the Seattle area do you typically get?

It’s been a while since I’ve had them on but if I remember correctly it was 2.5
