Wait, so to avoid blinding people with your ditch lights, you flip on your high beams and blind them that way?

 

Why not wire them to only come on with high beams. So, flip to low beams and all blinding light turns to low beam.

You missed the part where I wrote that I don't have high beams since my projectors don't have the cutoff shield motor wired in. Low beams only 100% of the time since the cut off shields never flip up to expose the full light source even when the switch is flipped to the forward/high beam position. All it does it cancel the fog lights which the ditch lights are wired into. Everyone does the fogs on with high beam mod bypassing the factory setup. Washington has a law that says high beams and fog lights cannot be used/illuminated simultaneously.

 

Honestly, I discovered the high beam/ditch light cancel trick by mistake one night when I bumped the high beams on and the ditch lights went out. Never intended to use it that way, I just started to after that. I guess I could use the passenger side headlight connection and pull from the high beam circuit to trigger the ditch lights since it's unused. Thanks for that idea. Never thought of that before. I'll add that to the todo list, and that will free up a slot for my backup/headache rack lights.

The wiring for my projectors ballasts are fed from the drivers side headlight plug, with it's own relay and fused harness which also feeds the passenger side housing.

I still need to figure out a spot for my power rear window switch since I installed the 2017 power rear window into my 2006.

 

Even at 5'8", getting in and out of a lotus elise was not an easy chore.

 

Or you could swap in an add-a-fuse in your high beam fuse and trigger it there.

 

I've already got wires everywhere. I've got a few h4 plugs that I can use with the high beam pin only and make it plug and play, and no extra wires to run or hide. Just reroute my current ditch light wires. I should probably figure out what the high beam circuit is rated for and see what my pods are supposed to pull.

Actually each pod is 12v 15watts, so 1.25amp per. I'm good to go.

This is the Jesse motorcycle tie down bar for the Tacoma. It's super solid and I loved how it kept the tire from slipping and provided tie down spots. It is in like new condition with all needed hardware (no drill).
I'm now running a shell and carry my moto on a hitch mount.

As long as the side to side dimensions are the same -- pretty sure it's the same.

The front rail is taken off and the five bolts go into the stock rivnuts. If you don't have a stock front rail, then some drilling / rivnuts may be needed.
