What kind of abuse? I have one my DCLB and it's held up well. I've scratched it up, have almost ripped the roof bars off it driving through the woods, have hauled a bit of stuff on it. Not sure what you have in mind for it but mine has not disappointed me.

Having just had my truck ransacked, I'd highly recommend this addition. Would have saved me some grief.

I just tend to be really hard on stuff, or maybe just good at finding fail points, idk haha. From my 5 minutes of research I've done on it, it looks like its the entry level model that doesn't support as much roof weight. My RTT would be living full time on it and my truck spends a pretty decent amount of time offroad. A friend of mine broke his cheap snugtop canopy in less than a year. My previous leer was commercial grade and had the reinforced fiberglass roof and windoors and held up great, but i'm looking for a commerical aluminum canopy ideally. Beggars can't be choosers but i'm not in a hurry either.

I don’t get why people leave their photog/vid gear in their trucks. I ALWAYS have it on me until I have a safe place to put it. No matter what time of day or where I park.

camera bodies and lenses come with me. Gear rigs and lighting stay in truck if I can’t carry it in my bag.

It’s sucks carrying a fat bag to lunch/dinner in the city after a gig but it’s safer.

    ps sry for your loss

Yeah, when I read that, I was thinking they meant "double" cab. Mostly because Tacoma's don't use the term "extended cab". Instead they use "access" cab. If it was a double cab, it could have been a 5' or a 6' bed.
