Give South Dakota a shot, and if that ain't boring enough, try North Dakota.

I have a Trail Toys fuel tank skid (more info here). I got a deal on an aluminum skid and had off road straps lying around that I bought a while ago. Will fit 2005+ Tacoma DCSB and Access Cab. I am asking $100 on CL, $80 for TW members. No damage. Local Only. Located near Tigard/Tualatin.

I also have OEM pads and hardware, aftermarket rotors, and dust shields. Everything is in great shape, no warps or issues. I pulled the trigger on 4Runner calipers (love them!) so i've got all this left over. Rotors have never been resurfaced and show little wear. Price: a 6 pack of your choosing. Local only.

Based on the installation photo (2nd gen Tacoma), I'd say yes, it will fit your rig.

However, that cannot be determined by the 74-75 inch length. Keep in mind the 2nd gen and 3rd gen softtoppers are 2 different heights, but the same length. A 2nd gen will not fit a 3rd gen properly, and vice versa.

The 3rd gen canopy (softopper or hard top) is not as tall as the 2nd gen. This is because the 3rd gen has taller bedsides than the 2nd gen.

If you were to put a 3rd gen topper on a 2nd gen truck, it would be shorter than the cab height. Conversely, if you put a 2nd gen canopy on a 3rd gen truck, the canopy would stick up above the cab.

The overall bed dimensions are the same between the gens, the differences are the height of the bedsides and the shape of the back of the cab.

I will be going up to Portland the 20th & 21st if anyone needs anything brought up from the Roseburg area (or along the way on I5) or taken back down. Nothing too big as I will be driving a Subaru Outback (borrowing because it gets better mpg and is easier to park at the VA hospital than my Tundra).
