    2006 4.0 auto
    I should have left it as is when I first got it.. 1st version of the build with baby tires and no cutting or other BS. 2nd version of the build was me making a clapped out tacoma beast special that drove and rode like crap. The 3rd version of my build is my attempt at making this truck reliable again, comfortable, and replacing crap parts with quality.

    37s finally on. now time for cab mount relocation, clearing the firewall, and hopefully making new fender liners

    Pelfreybilt full hoop steel bumper
    rear bumper is a 4X4 body armor that I cut up turning into a high clearance
    wheelers sliders
    Pelfrey skids
    front king 2.5s
    .25 JD fab UCAs
    rebuilt OEM LCAs with mevotech tough terrain ball joints
    front ARB locker, rear OEM TRDOR locker
    5.29 gears
    9SIX9 Six-1 Deep 17x9 offset -36 B.S. 3.58+
    BFG KO2s 37/12.5R17 load range C
    front runner slime line rack
    KP offroad alighnment tabs
    safari snorkel
    facelift parts
    Rear King 2.5 25001-121A 0-1.5

    need to install -
    wheelers super bumps F/R + ubolt flip
    cam gears


    need to buy -
    BAMF shackle hangers
    rear diff skid

    want -
    brute force rear bumper
    upgraded axles front and rear
    supercharger

    -Dakar leaf springs
    2in of lift

    -snug top camper shell with Yakima bars
    -Front Runner Slimline 2
    -super 10 muffler
    -safari snorkel

    04/16/2023
    over the years this truck has had some failures -
    blown head gasket - 2015 engine with 3K miles went in at 228K
    engine mount cave into frame - fixed in 2020
    power steering pump fail - rebuilt 2023
    flattened cam tabs replaced with KP Offroad tabs 2023
    rear diff leak - fixed and regard 2021

    Ive checked out your build thread in the past, its nice truck with a lot of work put into it. ill wave if I see it! I keep seeing a first gen that has been painted army green with a flatbed, is that yours too?
