I'm curious how many miles Tacoma owners are getting on the original Bilstein's with the TRD package.
I've got an 01 Double cab with 99K and thinking about replacing them.

Lots of small stuff; Grillcraft MX, Bilstein 5100's, Deck Plate Mod w/ K&N air filter, Airaid MIT, braided SS brake lines, Redline Tuning QuickLIFT hood struts, Extang Full-Tilt tonneau cover, fog light mod, gray wire mod, power outlets on-demand, Diff breather ext, additional contours to passenger side from oak tree.
I replaced my originals at 137k. The ride wasn't too bad on normal highways, just a little bouncy, but at interstate speeds it was like a small boat on high seas!

I (like many folks on TW) got a good deal on Bilstien 5100's from Downsouth Motorsports through ebay. I actually got them for less than I could find the OEM shocks, so it was a no-brainer.

I changed mine bc of my lift, but I knew they were over due at 95K. The 5100's made a world of difference! Sooooo smooth.:)

My '01 TRD xtra cab was fine all 5 years, same Bilsteins

My '05 TRD DC rear Bistein shocks were replaced with Bilstein 5100's after 2 years. One of the originals was destroyed and gone on a Baja trip. 5100's were great...
