Original ipod Nano recalled in US

Missed delivery attempt #2. Called and requested a later delivery time. Probably going to miss that one also.

 

Thank you!!! Since day 1 she has done nothing but bash Apple, and bash the free replacement. At first she complained because she thought it was a refurb and it would impact her ability and price at which she could sell it, and now the problem is that its too small.

 

i wasnt sayin anything bad about op finding the replacement program.

this is the first problem ive had with apple, i didnt like the fact they never specified what they were replacing it with, and that they are replacing it with something different. the memory upgrade is the only better thing coming out of the deal imo.

if it was the bigger nano, no i didnt want a refurb, and i would have kept it. but with the little nano, i have no use for something that small, and i was going to sell it to someone on here that wanted one, but im not going to sell him a refurb that has the potential to goof up in a few months.

 

I think Apple did a badass job compensating people for iPods that are way out of warranty. Props to them, and another reason I'll continue to buy their products!

 

i love how some of you get your feathers ruffled. and rollin yeah it is a benefit for you since you bought your used.

i was stating my opinion, everyone is entitled to them.

 

i got the small little 8gb nano ....... im happy.. because my old one was dead anyways

 

It came via UPS on Wednesday. It shipped on Monday.

I LOVE TACOMAWORLD, i'm getting me a new ipod

 

and the great thing is the ipod was given to me after it got a cracked screen

 

Now we need a recall on the 30gig classic, I have that one sitting in a drawer because the battery can't hold a charge.

 

It is pretty easy to soldier in a new one... Instructions are on YouTube and you can get a cheap battery on eBay. You just have to work up the courage to open it up.

 

how long have you had the refurbs? i havent had any experience with an apple refurb but all the other things ive had that were refurbed goofed up a few months later.

ive had motorola and samsung refurb phones and they all crapped out 3-6 months later. Thanks for that info

 

Did you guys have to send in the charger or all you had to send in was just the iPod? Thanks!

 

no, only the ipod itself, they will not send you new cords.

 

i'm still waiting on the box, but they told me over the phone to just send ipod, no accessories
