    I KNOW I'm the only one with one cause nobody but me thinks about stuff like that:D
    ..oh yeah all the higher-end cars like your folks', Lexus, and Mercedes, and BMW, and Porsche-etc use this type of pedal-I don't know why, but I do like the feel of it, and I know that it probably has a lot to do with heel/toe coordination when doing some high performance driving or something. Anyone here know why?

    hmm im not sure ridge...but i drive like mine is connected like yours...even though its not

    i tend to plant my heel unless emergency braking...

    i'd like to try driving a vehicle with one of those and KNOW that it has one...its possible that ive done it before and i just didnt know

    That's what I figured, because the 'bottom-up angle' to the throttle arm gives you a steadier delivery of power.

    i wish i had time to go test drive cars...but im busting tail at both my jobs...soo yeah...and when i get off work i do NOT want to go drive anymore...

    ^^^^LOL!!!!!! It's easy-but you have to weatherize the job at the floorboard. I installed a plate with sealant.

    I think the most original thing on my Tacoma is where(how) I mounted my CB antenna.

    As for the 4Runner, I'm too poor to do anything their yet. It does have that siren in it, though. Did I mention it does work. I was gonna remove it and all the wiring cause I didn't think it worked, but then I found a toasted fuse...replaced that and poof, a police siren!
