You are welcome, it is a beast of a cooler and I had compared locally to the same brands you have. The latches alone make it better than the others. Jackson makes quality stuff.

Edit: Oh, and the color choices are nice.

Yeah buddy! If you go through the thread around page 5 and 6 we start to get the coolers in and let me tell you it's a great cooler! I even screenshotted my wife saying she really liked it. Look at @JimBeam and I reviews on it and that should've sold you on the deal already haha but let us know when you get it!

@Mark11 Hey Mark. Looking at the cooler closely I have little holes in it. Did you have some on yours as well?

Look at the measurements, that's will make it easier. Plus it's a small bump of $50 for the larger cooler.

    Working on it.
The 65 is very large and very heavy when loaded. I just tried mine out yesterday. It does fit under my extang trifold and I am also running the rubber bed mat as well. It worked great. Everything stayed cold and the integrated bottle openers were very convenient. It was used to sit on and store beverages for a group of 12 and it was plenty of room and handled being open and closed frequently. The latches were easy to use even for kids and made opening and closing the cooler very easy. The only down side which really is not a knock on the cooler really but fully loaded, moving the beast is a 2 man job, it is HEAVY!:benchpress:. I am trying to think of a way to integrate wheels like a small folding dolly so it can be moved by one person. If I come up with a solution I will let everyone know. If you don't mind the size I would recommend the 65 for the storage capacity but if mobility it an important factor for your needs get a smaller size or travel in packs or hit the gym hard :muscleflexing:. Outstanding cooler overall and impressive feature set for the price, compared to the competition anyway. Either way I think you will enjoy your new cooler. Let us know what you go with.:typing:

    This might be an option...

    http://store.orioncoolers.com/91351

but at $200 it's a bit steep. I think I might be able to build something out of wood that would work. I'll see what I can come up with once I get my cooler.

That is an interesting design. Thanks for the heads up. Yeah I might try and get creative before dropping that much, but it is a clever and compact design.

Let me know! Cause I said earlier in the thread it's easy to carry by yourself unloaded but when loaded that's a different story haha

I have both and the 45 will certainly get more regular useage. 65 is going to be great for longer trips but the 45 is more of an everyday cooler. Both are heavy but the 45 is manageable, even when loaded

A couple but nothing impactful. Construction is still top notch. The couple I found were absolutely nothing that will alter the function nor anything Im going to be too concerned about.

BTW..I loaded the cooler with waters and gatorade on Thursday and with numerous in and outs (including keeping it open for a few hours I don't hack any ice left but still have frigid water in the 65.

In the 45 that we have been in and out more frequently (kid style) I added more ice bag on Friday night and still have some ice this morning. My guess is that under more regulated access I would have a good bit more. Note: it's been 95 during the day aND 40s at night where Ive been

Thanks guys! Most of my trips I think the 45 might be best since my long trips are usually with a travel trailer and we have the fridge/freezer in it. All other trips are for a few days at most, and truthfully the loaded weight is definitely a factor, and since I don't have a cover to worry about the height isn't as much of a factor. And although the upgrade in size for about $50 is tempting, I think I'll just put that $ towards a tumbler to keep the mixed beverages cold as well.
I think I'll jump on it and when the 'boss' comments on it I'll just say "Thanks for the father's day gift babe!":lalala:

Coolers are free shipping. Tumblers were not. I found this out on my purchase as well. Did you get charged shipping on your cooler??

Good point...shipping was like 7.40 so I'm going to guess it was just for the tumbler. I made a note in the comments section of the order anyway.

A very nonscientific test: Put 20 lbs of ice in the warm cooler with warm water and beer 10AM 17 Jun. Has been opened some and was in the bed of my truck in the hot garage all weekend.
    IMG_3970.jpg
There is a 12 pack of beer in there someplace.
    IMG_3968.jpg
    Today 19 Jun 1630.
Shit, what happened to the beer?
    IMG_3985.jpg
    Found one.
