no not yet... i needed a spring compressor, and the auto shops arround here wanted to charge me 50 each to do just put the springs on the struts, and the cheapest i could rent a compressor for was $40 a day. So, i bought a spring compressor myself for $10 on ebay, and am waiting for it to get in. Its cool though nice little weekend task for me.

Biggest issue is that they are TRD, and i have a Base.... Its a learning experiance to see if they really WILL fit, and if they dont, ill be able to let people know why. I have a 3 day weekend coming up ill let you know by next week if youd like

You got it! Sweet. Good luck on the install! WHat kind of spring compressor did you buy? If it's similar to this...you should use 2 of them, one on each side of the spring:

PLEASE be careful with those spring compressors...keep the springs aimed away from you...i really dont want to read a story about a spring hitting you in the chin

Did you ever get this done? I'm putting in some TRD shocks this weekend. I don't have a spring compressor, but I've used them several times in the past.

and I have a IR titanium pneumatic impact gun :D

I lived in Orlando 1999-2004, If I still lived down there I'd give you a hand. I rented spring compressors when I replaced my front shocks on my 95 Tacoma while living in Orlando. I rented them from Auto Zone I think for $40 and got my money back when I returned them. Cost nothing really. Your not supposed to use air tools to tighten these down, I really don't know why. It's best to have a friend tighten one side while you tighten down the other, it goes a lot faster. Good luck and be safe working on them.
