I don't have any problems with my stock gears. I mean the truck isn't fast by any means but I'm still getting about 19 mpg. I only had the 245s on the truck for like two weeks before I got the 265s so I can't even remember a difference

Man I love those high clearance rear bumpers...I just couldn't justify buying it at the time. But, I really want a tire swing out so if I end up getting a new one it would probably be the high clearance. Sadly though funds are gonna be real tight for awhile so I don't see any big mods coming soon.

Eric, what's up? I know you touched on this before, but there is just so much conflicting information ..... When you were running the Bilsteins at 1.75, did you install a diff drop? If not, do you think there is a need to with our RC's? Also, did you have any vibes with them set at 1.75. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks man.

I still have them set at 1.75 and I haven't experienced any vibes at all. So no I didn't do the diff drop. All the things I've read about reg cabs indicate most people get vibes once they do an aal or new leaf packs.

    Stock at this time.
    Nice truck.

I really like the look of the Regular Cab, but with a family and needing more room we purchased a 2013 DCSB TRD Offroad.

I used to have a 1995 1/2 Tacoma 4wd with 4 cylinder 5 speed and I can't tell you how much fun I had with that pickup.

    You have a nice truck.

Eric, thanks for the response. Sounds promising. I have heard with the short wheel base of the RC, the smallest change will cause some vibes. I don't plan on doing anything to the rear. I might even go .85. I already have the Bilsteins, just waiting on tires. Like I said, just had so many mixed responses .... I guess I'll never know unless I do it, Haha.

Even at 1.75 I think you would be fine. One reason people may notice small vibes after they lift their trucks is they go looking for them...but if you don't plan on doing any armor then 1.75 may give you a bit of a bro lean

No armor in the near future. For what I do, I don't need anything that substantial. You have a point about going looking for something ... That's the way it always works! How much power loss did you get with the larger tires? Man, I appreciate all the info.
