    Hi All
Thought this may be needle bearing issue as it goes away in 4H, but sounds more on passenger side than driver. 107k miles with no previous noises. New tires and rotated twice thinking it could be issue. Drones about every second so not constant and doesn't speed up at all. Getting ready to replace needle bearing with clamshell bushing but now questioning if that is it due to passenger side sounding louder. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds can travel. If it gets marginally quieter in 4wd then stay the course and replace the needle bearing. It is a known problem after all..

Thank you for your kind response. I’m thus far unable to find any other possibilities.
