One thing I have to say is that tw is organized very well. If you have questions ask, but if you want to avoid comments like. "Do we really need another thread on......... and then other smart a$$ comments learn to use the search tool and visit the sections which pertain to you question.

If you want to do it more than likely someone else on here has already do e it and can tell you what not to do.

But if you ask "what size tires can i get on a stock tacoma with no rubbing get ready for a shit storm.

As long as there's effective moderation, a forum is what you make of it. IMO, the TW mods do a good job of balancing their power & responsibility, leaving most things to work their way through a libertarian process of mean person self-identification. If someone has been particularly helpful, let them know by a Like and/or a simple thank you. If someone has been otherwise, let them stew on their own. They'll eventually jump into the path of a swinging ban hammer without a push from you.

The 3rd Gen storm will pass, and this sub-section will be filled with much gnashing of teeth about a lack of aftermarket parts compared to the Poverty Gens.

Every forum is going to have "those people". Just got to know what to ignore, what to report, and what to join in on. TW is actually pretty tame compared to other forums - vehicle related or not. Hell, I don't even own a Tacoma anymore and I still hang out here because the people are awesome. I belong to a couple 4Runner forums as well but they're just not as active as TW. They're great for info/research but can't hold a candle to TW when it comes to general BS'ing, meets, and whatnot.

TW is a great site. If I had not experienced the value of TW in the 2nd Gen forum over the last several years, I would be wondering WTF was wrong with this place after seeing how the 3rd Gen forum is going. Give it a chance, hopefully all the behaviors of the 3rd Gen forum will damp down into more useful and cordial discussion.

That's hilarious!! Ha ha same old same ole theres one in every crowd. I just bought a 2015 Tacoma and just joined up here on Tacoma world .......but if you read Tacoma world forums you would think half the guys on here wouldn't have or touch any Toyota.
