OP, what is it that you are looking for? The information is all here if you are willing to look or ask for it. Yeah there is a lot of static regading the new Tacoma, but those that are having issues will beat their drums the loudest. As long as they are not breaking any COC they can continue to post as they will.

Here's the thing... We could all of a sudden set up a moderation system where every post had to be informative and on topic. What you would find is a place that has become like many other forums. Desolate. Scary. Dark. If the debauchery of this site wasn't like it is many people wouldn't frequent this site (myself included) on a daily basis. Many of us come here to witness the asshattery, but if someone has a legitimate question we are just here hanging around anyway so we can answer it. It's muddy waters for sure, but the knowledge is here and you need all of the noise or a lot of the knowledgeable people wouldn't frequent the site like they do. If you don't like the culture then I don't know what to tell you other than you can be a ghost like many others and just search, but never post. You can always contact people directly that have a bunch of posts. They might not know the answer, but most likely will know someone that will.

colton doesn't waste a breath for less than $100k so if he's chiming in, its worth a read.

    COME AT ME BRO!

I have admittedly been dragging ass lately (damn day jobs). What do you want? I can get the ball rolling on a GB. Or just hit me up direct. If it's not something that is custom made by a member on here there's a pretty good chance I can get it at a discount for TW.

The stupid engines makes power when you press the accelerator. I hate that the fucking tires are round. You can't roll down the windows without air coming through the window frame, piece of shit. The transmission shifts so smooth that I can only tell it shifted due to the increase in RPM on the dash because the cab is so quiet that I can't hear the engine, which is trash. The projector head lights and directional fogs are too damned good and shine light in front of the vehicle when I would prefer to blind everyone coming toward me... The transfer box took a shit on me when it started putting rotational power to the front wheels, what's that about, garbage. The bed is made of light plastic and it holds things when you put them into the bed, disgusting engineering! And to top it all off, the atkinson cycle saves gas! What a piece of shit

Cmon, Toyota, you can do better!

Hilarious thread... the same people complaining about the forum probably complain to the cable company about certain shows that are airing despite over 300 channels to choose from. Don't like the thread, change the channel and don't read it.

like memario1214 said, the asshattery is entertaining.

It's gotta be 3rd Gen fault, gotta be!

You'll never find a site as active, informational, humorous, and the "brotherhood" comradery like TW has.

Extremely well said. I know I wouldn't frequent as much if it weren't for the debauchery. I've also come across some extremely helpful information.

Like said before, as long as you wade through the muck and know where to look (and how to search), TW is an unbeatable resource.

Is there any way to tell how many different people have viewed the 3rd gen forum? I am curious because it would be nice to know for instance what the percentage of people have an issue. Like if 14 people said their crankshaft position sensor have gone Bad and there are 100 people on here, that's 14%, but if there are 1000 people then it's only 1.4%. Big difference

I personally like how active this forum is, whether its casual BSing or productive info. I got ADD though so it suits me.

1.The guy asked a simple question. Are there any better forums with less BS? Simple answer would be to tell him no, in spite of the occasional $#!+ storms it is still the best. Instead, we get another $#!+ storm. Even with all of the 2nd gen problems back in the mid 2000s I don't recall this happening. No judgement, just an observation.
2.There is a difference in people expressing legitimate concerns for discussion and raising the same issues every time a topic is raised that might have a remote relationship to one of said issues. On the other hand, I also find that the people who complain most about the bear often poke the bear and then complain that the bear wakes up. Both can be annoying to me...but...
3.In spite of 1 and 2 tolerance for BS (as long as it doesn't involve personal attacks) is IMO infinitely better than a totalitarian system that doesn't allow dissent. We also have the ignore function, but I personally find that sometimes annoying people have some useful things to say. The ability to see something and ignore it yourself is a useful skill to develop.
4.When I was young I got very upset (fuming angry) with people who did not do things the right way or behave the right way (IMO of course), especially at work. I learned that this consumed a LOT of my energy, energy that could be spent on better things. All it did was hurt me. The good news is that you CAN learn this and change. By the time I was in my early 30s people were asking me how I could be so patient when dealing with difficult people. Learn to deal with people who annoy you or you may have a very unproductive life.

I hope that I won't sound like a jerk by saying this, and if I offend you, I apologize. My intent is not to hurt, embarrass, or enrage someone.
Sure there is a lot of BS-ing up here, kinda happens with a band of brothers and sisters. It's pretty natural for people to talk about anything and everything, because that's what people do. And yes, there is also a lot of trolling and hating that goes on, but that, too, is a part of human nature. Internet sites bring together all sorts of people with different personalities and walks of life, some good, some bad, some helpful, some annoying, some a mix of everything- uniting them by one common factor- in this case, our trucks. Sometimes hidden and sometimes in plain sight, there is a lot of valuable information up here on TW, and there are always members willing to lend a hand, whether it be just offering advice via the site or actually meeting up with you and helping you. That is one thing that is awesome about this site- I've met quite a few awesome people I would have never known if I didn't join TW. So basically what I'm saying is that you're going to find the same BS-ing on every site you find- so you might as well stick with TW, which is (correct me if I am wrong,) probably the biggest up-to-date site for our trucks. From my understanding, the other big sites like TTORA saw their heydey a long time ago.
But anyways, I hope this helped, and I hope you find the info you're looking for.
