This might be my first post. I intended to post my moderate start to a build, but I'm fundamentally lazy.

Anyway, been lurking here for over a year. This forum is actually one of the more informative and valuable forums I've followed. I found Vin and hooked up some SCS wheels, learned the faults of my 15 taco and how to remedy them when ready, and mapped out my build that will happen slowly. I've had too many hobbies over the years leading to a lot of terrible forums. Owned an STI previously. I hated the forums and community so much that it contributed to me ditching the sub and going Tacoma.
Here is to hoping this whole thread is a joke. Didn't read the last page, so maybe it was...

i for 1 can't say enough good things about tw. yes i've been on here a couple of times and run into some assholes. yes they get under my skin. i just got my tacoma in december after wanting 1 for many years and was having to rely on local shops for info and suggestions which led me down the wrong path. i've been out of work since march 31st recovering from shoulder surgery and i'm on tw pretty much everyday. tw has provided me with valuable information and since my profession lies in fabrication and paint/ body work i have been able to also pass some along. i have met some new friends through the local tw community. but most importantly it has kept me entertained through this ordeal for which i am very grateful. i spend the majority of my time between 3 or 4 threads occasionaly venturing out to others but, for the most part, remain in the circle of threads i enjoy. is there sometimes alot of bs? absolutely but you can always look to other areas of the site. sometimes the bs is fun. where i spend most of my time is on the 50+ thread. actually not very much discussion on a daily basis about our trucks more about how our days went and who has a current ailment at our age they're common. what i do get is communication with a wonderful group of people. life is what you make of it i wish everybody could see this sight as i do you'd enjoy it more.

i understand if someone is disheartened by some aspects of this sight not everyone likes the same thing. that being the reasoning for looking for alternative tacoma sites. if your truely that unhappy with the way things are here simply don't login any more. i guess you could just google any problems you may have with your truck to find answers some of which may lead you back to here where yo read, find your answer, then leave again. i'm in noway saying if you dont like it get out that's not my intent at all but if your displeased with it just don't be a part of it i wouldn't if it were me

So....Let me get this straight.....An off topic post full of BS, with no redeeming social value/no informative Tacoma comments, complaining about off topic post's full of BS that have no redeeming social value or informative Tacoma comments......

Oh wait a minute. I'm in 3rd gen forum! :censored: That explains it all. Nevermind. :lalala:

This is probably the hundredth internet discussion forum I've spent time around. This one is MORE FUN, MORE INFORMATIVE, MORE FRIENDS TO BE MADE, MOST ENTERTAINING of ANY I know of. Some people just don't fit in with ANY crowd. Some do....Those that do, enjoy this place. Those that don't, author post's complaining about off topic post full of BS with no redeeming social value/no informative Tacoma comments.....:burnrubber:

I would hope in time, everyone who comes to this site finds their niche. Those who don't the door swings both ways. No hard feelings if/when you leave. Myself? I'll stay as long as they'll have me.
