Hey! I resemble that remark. :D I'll usually wave on the bike if they wave first. You'd be amazed at how many people whine on the motorcycle forums I visit about other bikers not returning their waves.

I usually don't wave if there's a possibility of sudden death though.

lol I'm all for community, being friendly, etc... But I hate it people are driving and acting like they'd rather be doing something else (talking on the phone, putting on makeup, eating, etc). If it distracts from the task at hand (obeying laws, doing the speed limit, not crashing.....) then stop doing it! Like slowing down 10mph to wave to someone or look at their bike. It's like "Dude, no offense but you're on a tiny little bike and I have a 5,000lb truck behind your ass. Right of way or not, this isn't the time to f* around! One wrong move and you're road kill unless I can stop in time."

I know most laws favor motorcycles in the accident, but how does it help if the rider is dead? Or mangled? Sure you might get money, but you may never walk or ride again. Some of them seem to forget that and think they own the road or no one will hit them. Or that no one WANTS to run them over.

It's like messing around in front of a tractor trailer in a honda civic or toyota corolla. Ya just don't do it! (well, if your smart anyway.)

seems jeep people have it the best with the waving... i had an 06 wrangler and people in other jeeps waved all the time... funny one was when i had my jacked up suzuki samurai...me and my gf in samurai...buddy and his gf in his 06 rubicon...his mom and dad in their 06 rubicon unlimited...all went fourwheeling got all muddy on the way home is was TJ then samurai then LJ lol people would wave at buddy then start to wave at me and take their hand down...then wave at his parents behind... like I cant be waved at since I wasnt in a jeep even though it was obvious we were all together (3 muddy vehicles going through town or down a 2 lane highway in convoy mode)

lol I would say highbeam then lol... but they were a set of those little imports LOL anyhow back on subject... i feel like sticking a tacomaworld card or something on every taco i see...there are tons around here..but seem to have the little old man driving them more often than not... years ago there was a pretty good looking chick driving around in a purple x-cab with little lift and tires on it...but alas havent seen that around for like 5 years
