Things I have put in the over head drop down compartment:
    Half a tuna sandwich
My sun glasses (fit perfectly no rattle, Oakley Gas Can's)
    My wife's underwear. It's a long story don't ask.
    Garage Door Opener fits
    motorcycle keys

my Colt .25 fits in there nicely, but if you open it too fast the gun flies out and that's just not safe.

haha ok. You twisted my arm.

Well my wife and I were fooling around in the truck right after we got it. Just pulled off the side of the road that wasn't busy at all around 10pm. We started messing around, I start taking off her underwear. Well right around the time this happens I see a car pull up behind us and I'm already knowing what type of car it is thanks to the shape of the headlights.

A cop was walking up to my truck so I took her underwear and put it in the first place I could think of that he wouldn't see them, and it was the over head compartment. He came up, asked what we were doing. Well my wife was smart enough to whip out the manual and told the cop we were trying to figure out how to get the lights working or something stupid so we pulled off on the side of the road so not to mess around while driving. The cop said ok, have a good night and left.

Once he left, we banged in the truck, then went home. It wasn't till 3 days later when I was showing off my new truck to a buddy when he opened the compartment her purple thong fell out of it. Man that was funny. More so funny when I convinced him that it came that way from the dealer and it wasn't my wife's!

    None yet! It's new!
The first thing I did was install a red LED I got from radio shack in there, right in the top of it. That illuminates it just slightly, and you can't see it when the compartment is closed. Then I put my 3 remotes in there, in a line. Garage door opener, driveway gate opener, and home security system transmitter.

Works great. Now they don't all rattle around inside the console. :)

    Removed the damn stickers!
I'm thinking about mounting the garmin up in the first one. Might need some trimming but looks like it could be done.
