Anyone add some KC fogs (doubt it matters manufacturer, just noting as may use their 30 amp switch) to an 18' SR dbl with just the fog blanks?
My goal is to add a set of SAE legal fogs and use a dedicated switch installed in center stack.
I am aware of the project where someone tied in TRD factory fogs in an SR. I am not looking to replace the light stalk to include a fog setting but to simply have a dedicated panel switch.

The one question, an may have missed solution during my research here, but to tie harness into hi beams so they auto off when high beams used. Feedback appreciated and i am not beyond admitting i missed a thread if it adresses a seperate switch yet tied into OEM.

The G4 Gravity Fogs are an excellent choice!

Tap your low beam as the power source for the relay (you can get a male and female plug and wire them together as a mini-jumper harness so no permanet wiring mods would be needed, but put the switch in-between the power source and the relay. When your lows are on, the fogs will work if the switch is on. If your high beams are on there is no power to the relay tapped of the low beams, so regardless of switch position the fogs will turn off. If all that makes sense.

Hmm....makes sense and similar was required when added driving lights to my motorcycle. Been back and forth with KC Taylor and he was looking to send me there wiring harness for installs not tying into stock wireing. Imagine can run the jumper to the low beam from that harness which includes a switch. Many thanks. J
