I moved some bolt holes on the stove slide this trip. The hard part was not leaving any aluminum shavings behind.

I did this last Friday when I got to my campsite.
I replaced the windshield washer fluid pump.
    The old one stopped working.
I check to make sure it was getting power with my multi meter. It was getting power.
I took the old pump off and hooked it up to the battery. It was dead.

The bracket that’s welded to the frame where the engine isolator mounts to is broken.
The piece below came off with the 14mm bolt and nut. It looks like the other bolt and nut hole is the same. The passenger side looks fine.
Anyone else have to fix this same thing? I’ve done zero looking into how to replace that part of the mount. I assume it would need to have another piece welded or a plate welded over the broken holes?
Getting to that spot looks like a huge pain in the ass.

New gas cap for the aux tank. I have no idea what happened to the old one.

All packed in case I have to evacuated from the CZU complex fire. The fire is 8.3 miles away to the west. The wind had been mostly south or southwest blowing the fire away.
The evac zone is 1 mile away.
It’s been very hot and smokey but today and this evening have been really nice.
    minimal smokey and perfect weather.

Nope, I got winched by @rob1208.
I took all the easy routes.

I also realized right away I forgot to put my skid plates back on after I took them off to sort out my broken engine mount.
    That was sketchy.

To put it into perspective, I could walk up to his front bumper and move it like it wasn't even bolted down. Most technically thing he was doing was taking the easy line on Staircase.

Man, that sucks. I have some 1/4” plate laying around, this winter I’m going to beef the frame horns up

I'm probably going to do the same eventually. I also need to put my IFS skid plate off and rebuild the mounts for it. Mine broke last year and it's basically being held on by my front bumper and belly skid at this point.

I welded those mid mounts up last time I had it off. My shielding tank was practically empty so the weld looked gross lol I got out and was so confused on why it welded so shitty. Then I seen the gauge lol

Whelp. I'd need to check with my dad, but I think we have gas for the mig machine. I definitely know we have gas for tig, but that's because I've been trying to learn how to tig as of only a few months ago. Mig has spoiled me with the ease of use.

Yeah I run a mig here, it’s only about $60 to refill. Tank is full now.

I welded 1/4” plate in place of those a couple years ago. So far they’re holding up well.
    What’s next?
