Yeah, I've moved around a little since then. The address was on Sweetbriar Lane in North Planefield, by Greenbrook Rd and West End Ave. I vaguely remember playing in Green Brook Park. We moved from there when I was 7. After that was PA > Detroit > Chicago > Upstate NY near Canana > Near Syracuse NY > Hartford CT > Whitefish MT > Hartford CT > Poughkipsie NY (for school, still part time in CT) > CA > CT/NY > CA > Arkansas > CA.

Yes, I've moved to CA 3 times. It's nice here but stupid expensive. I kinda have to move at some point. I'm just not sure where. I have friends in Salt Lake City and I can transfer there workwise. There's good food, most the outside things I like. Just no scuba diving...although I dont' do that much anymore.

I can't go anywhere until I finish climbing all of CA's 14,000 foot peaks. I'm at 6 of 15. I'm hoping to knock off 6 more this year.

Sorry I meant where in PA is what I was asking about where you moved to, lol I currently work in PA, Newtown to be exact but have learned about most of the areas from here to KOP. I feel like CA would be the ideal location for my wife and I because it gives us everything we would need. Relatively local skiing/snowboarding, I can go out and drive into the mountains on a whim, amazing weather, and within driving distance to a beach. Her requirement are beaches, mine are mountains. When we were in San Diego we stayed in Chula Vista, right off 125. I loved that location, easy drive into San Diego, kinda away from the border and easy access to major's. I looked up houses that would be comparable to what we have now and we are looking at $600k! I wouldn't mind Escondido area either, but housing isn't much better there either. The only bright side is that your property taxes are basically the same amount on a 600k house that I pay on a 265k house lol

    Come to AZ!

You can be scuba diving in San Carlos, it's only an 8 hour drive from Phoenix. Amazing waters, cold drinks, and hot women.

Unlike CA, we allow the things most men are drawn too.

    Oh, right on....near Doylestown PA.

Yeah, I live near San Jose. A condo is like 750K. It's insane. Renting is just as bad. Either you share a house or live in a box. I would totally put a camper on my truck and live in it but I like having a solid roof over my head and place to come home to.

From Escondido you can get to Death Valley, Eatern Sierra, Nevada and even Southern Utah pretty quick. Also Baja is super close. I've gone to Baja a bunch. It's super fun.

I like Arizona quite a bit. I have a friend in Flagstaff that absolutely loves it.

Oh yeah, the other thing is which state can I easily do a diesel swap and plate a dirt bike in?

Right on! Love Doylestown. We actually go every year for Mother's Day to Our Lady of Czestochowa because my family is Polish. Awesome little main street with a bunch of nice bars too. Bucks County in general is gorgeous but just as expensive as Jersey.

And dude, 750k for a condo?! What the fuck. How does anyone own property in CA? lol but yeah I would love the West Coast, just not sure how we would be able to afford it. Our goal is to have the house paid off in 10 years and then we MIGHT be able to have a down payment on a house out West.

I had to go to Wilsonville Oregon for work a couple years ago. It totally reminded me of Bucks County. Rolling hills and farms. Although not too sure about how many farms are left there.

Flagstaff is as expensive as CA, but beautiful in its own right.

You can do those things in AZ easily.

Flagstaff's medium home price is $330K. Where i live now it's $1.4 million.
    That's more than 4x more!
    How F'ing crazy is that?

    To you that's a lot...to me that's almost free!

The cool thing about the west is each state is pretty amazing. I feel like you really can't go wrong. The whole country is like that. Every where has something to offer. For me, personally, the west is where I want to be.

Yeah, one way to plate a dirt bike in CA is to buy it already plated in AZ....but it's trickier than that.

I lived North of San Fransisco for a few years, the medium home price was only $700k in my town, but the areas around were north of $1 million. So I understand expensive.

For Arizona, Flagstaff has the highest cost of living, house, milk, fuel, etc. So after you spend some time in a cheaper state with more freedoms, your scale changes.

I love my Maxx's, I have about 20k on them and they still have plenty of life on them. I have them in the 255/85/16 (33x10.5) flavor. I have done slick rock, jagged rock, sand, ice, hard packed snow, 8in of heavy snow, 3 ft of deep fluffy stuff and they have excelled at everything. Only mud I do is going up my girlfriends driveway. They are an aggressive AT. Not too loud. Flex well when aired down. I will get them again, but I have though maybe a 34x11.5 would be cool.

I have the OME lift and a 1in body lift. No rubbing anywhere except for the frame at full lock. I think that these are the best fitting tire for these trucks. No tubbing, no cutting, I haven't even done the pinch weld mod

Wow, I haven't posted on here in a while.

I replaced my inner and outer tie rods over the weekend. The inners had some play in them so I went ahead and did the outers while I was at it. They're original with 230,000 miles on them.

This is the 1st thing I've done on my truck since March. I was hit by a car on my motorcycle at highway speed in April.
I'm super sore today but glad I could get the work done almost by myself. I needed some help breaking the lock nuts free. The impact wrench helps with that too. It's good to be able to actually do something.

I noticed the boot on the passenger upper ball joint is ripped. I've been thinking about getting aftermarket upper control arms. After those are installed I'll have all new bushing etc on the front end.

I started taking the bike apart and making a list of more complete list of parts. The plan is to build it back to where it's rideable and if it's not complete crap rebuild it. If it's crap I'll sell and get another one.
So far replaced the radiator, radiator hose, water pump and o-rings for the water pump.
It looks like the car hit the right fork leg and bent it. I'll just replace both fork legs.
The crash bars took the brunt of the impact. Once it's rideable and I decide to fix it I'll need new plastics for the front and a new front sub frame. Luckily the bike is old enough I can get most parts used on ebay for pretty cheap.

Old Vs New radiator. Guess which is which?

Pretty bad. I spent 10 days in the hospital with 5 of those in ICU. I broke 6 ribs, some of which were badly displaced and punctured and collapsed my lung. I was on a ventilator, intubated with a chest tube for 4 days. They were sucking what looked like beets from a blender out of my chest. Also broke my sternum, collarbone, a finger, badly sprained both wrists, bruised a kidney and had a traumatic brain injury with bleeding on the brain. I felt like I had a severe hangover for about a month. I think I lost about 24 hours of memory and the previous week before and month after are pretty fuzzy.

Luckily I was wearing a full aerostich suit so I had zero road rash even though I was thrown 50 feet and slid after that. The police report thinks I was going about 60mph when the car hit me. Also no spinal injuries which I'm glad for.

I was out of work for 9 weeks. This is my 4th week back. Work has been very hard to return to. I don't have much pain except when I sneeze or cough and my wrists still hurt. My brain is still getting there. I start therapy for that soon. I should have started already but didn't for some reason.

Oh, another thing was I was on my way to visiting a friend and before I left shared my google location sharing with him. When I was over do google maps indicated I was a the hospital so he went there. I use google maps location sharing all the time now.
