Is it common for the contura 2 switches to be warm to the touch when on. I have one hot wire jumped from 2 and 6 and one ground wire jumped from 7 and 8. 3 is running to the relay for my Hella lights. I'm not blowing any fuses and the lights are working. The power wire and ground wire are not warm to touch. Does the lights in the switch produce enough heat you can feel it?

Incandescent lights will produce heat. Do you have them constantly on with the ignition?

If so, consider trying to get the secondary light in the switch connected into a dash light circuit to be on only when the lights are turned on.

Yes they are on constantly with the ignition. I will switch the secondary light to the dash light circuit and try that.

    Thanks for the reply
