OTT Tune Gear Lock question

I would’ve posted in the OTT Tune thread but apparently since my account is less than 60 days old I can’t.

After reading the description of the gear lock function I’ve got a couple questions in regards.

I’m assuming that placing the shift into “S” is what activates this. Is this correct?

Would there be a way in the tune to prevent it automatically downshifting to 4th when moving into “S”?

Last question. I do I lot a freeway travel and go over a lot of overpasses. Would the use of the gear lock function be a good fit to prevent the transmission from downshifting to 5th every time I go over an overpass?

 

I have the Blackhawk tune and gearlock is turned on by both putting into S and Ect button on. No gearlock in just S mode alone. Works great for keeping it in gear for passes. As far as I know you cant change it into shifting into 4th when selecting s.
