i was jump starting my battery today (left my interior light on) with one of those rechargeable jump starters and i dropped right on my fuse box
anybody ever replace one of these?
do i need to find one that has the same options as mine? (which is almost zero)

I would imagine that any cover for the same year would be fine- The options and extra fuses don't make the cover fit any different.

Try a junk yard or toyota used parts website??

What broke then?? The mounting points?? the block itself?? (Photos would be awesome)

You should be able to get any fuse block for the right year/engine and just replace fuses you need for the options you do have.

Well- If the truck still runs- You could probably just seal the box up with some silicone and get a cover- Call it good.
Or find a box and cover from a junk yard or someone on here who has wrecked a rig.

First off, how in the hell did you drop the charger on the fuse box? You're not Charging Under the Influence are you?

Second, I would think it would be less of a hassle to repair the mounts and re attach the fuse box. Also for christ's sake man, get a cover.

    large hole in frame
I just had to replace my AC relay (aka MG CLT) -- got the mitsubishi part off ebay for like $12 -- and discovered that the lid on my under the hood fuse & relay box is not well seated and that the plastic latch mechanism is kaput. Must have happened under first owner or when they did my frame swap.

BTW: a few months back I had to replace the check valve control relay or something like that which threw a code. The AC relay doesn't throw a code but makes the AC button light flash (see other threads about that specific issue).

anyway. I am checking in to this thread because the parts in question seem to be:

    82741-04020 FUSE & RELAY BOX
    82741-04010 FUSE & RELAY BOX
82662-04040 FUSE & RELAY BOX UPPER COVER
82662-04050 FUSE & RELAY BOX UPPER COVER
82663-04010 FUSE & RELAY BOX LOWER COVER
    82730-04050 JUNCTION BLOCK

If anyone has any ideas on how I can secure my existing lid and housing let me know. hook & eye latches? I'm thinking that anything that's adhesive based (velcro or whatever) is not going to survive the under hood heat.

    ideas?
