What an ass. It looks like he has already sold one of these repairs too. Why dont people do just a little research. When I had this problem, I searched it, found this forum, and boom, done in fifteen minutes. This ass probably did the same thing, and instead of just helping others with a thread on this board, he decides to scam everyone for a buck.

 

Doesn't seem like a scam to me. There are some people that just aren't electrical savvy and physically can't do the repair themselves.
He's offering a service to do it for them.

I offer the same service, granted for $30, but everyone can charge what they wish.
