Out of Round Stock Wheels ??

You said "you can see it on there balance" That wheel/tire laying over is not on a balancer.

Mark the wheel in question with an identifier only you will notice. Incase the dealership tries to pull a switch on you. Not that a dealership would do something dishonest.

 

Exactly ,, how vet when it was on the balancer I was able to see that it warped , out of round , whatever

 

How much weight did it take to balance the other 3 wheels/tires?

 

Had an out of round rim with a non-stock tire replaced with no issue on my gen2. Explained that tire could not be balanced at tire installer. Dealer checked the wheel and quickly replaced the oem alloy wheel

We paid 40k (some even more) for these trucks, I would go ballistic if they just shrugged something
like that off like I was supposed to eat the cost of the issue.

When you initially found it was out of round with new tires mounted was that determined by the shop with the tire mounted or did the test the rim by itself? They may be trying to jack you out of an out of round tire blaming the rim.

 

New tire mounted ,,, our family has been going to this mom and pops place for years ,, don't think they would try that ,, I guess one never really knows,,, I did see it for myself ,, I was there for all four installs

 

I'd have them mount that same tire on one of your other rims and give it a go. That will reveal the truth.
