out of Warranty for leaf tsb

I'm not trying to fork over 1500 for those ass clowns at bill penny toyota huntsville al to replace my leaf pack. What are my best options? I know there are a million tsb threads, but any quick hints would be good.

I honestly have no clue whether i need new leafs or not. I will be haulling a shit ton of paint tonight so i guess ill find out

 

ask nice...maybe they will cover the parts? my dealer did. i still declined.

you can get an add a leaf for pretty cheap will do basically what the tsb does check out toytech's website

 

for sure, and aal is cheap, and basically the same thing, I think someone had one for sale in the buy/sale today or yesterday.

 

Depends on the dealership. My buddy got the TSB on his truck, out of warranty, even with a rear lift already installed.

I just got the tsb done on my truck. I was out of warranty of about 5 months and I was under the 60,000 mark so they decided to give me good will and only charge me 25% of the job. I talked to toyota first then they told me to go to my local dealership and talk to the service manager because he has the power to over ride that.

 

search...but if your too lazy, OME...if you start asking those, then your on your own as there are also a ton of threads about them...!!
