I'm new here to the tacoma world forums but I'm not new to the tacoma scene. I've been driving my 2000 for about 5 years now and I've put a lot into it over the years but now it's up for sale and soon I'll be buying a new 2007 red tacoma, access cab pre-runner. Here is the ad I put in the paper for my truck which includes all the mods, and pictures are in my profile on here:

2000 white Toyota Tacoma PreRunner V6 automatic, extended cab, only 87,000 miles, 6" lift on 33" BFG tires, polished alloy wheels, speedometer recalibration, Flowmaster straight pipe dual exhaust with large chrome tips, two Alpine 12" subs, Rockford 600 watt amp with bass knob, Kenwood door speakers & tweeters, clear headlight corners & blinkers, hyper white headlight bulbs, euro tail lights, polished aluminum 3rd brake light cover, shaved emblems on doors & tailgate, chrome bedrails, bed liner, AudioVox keyless entry security system, asking $14,995

Based on the mods and the milage, is $15,000 a fair price? Do you think I could ask more? What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for the help.

Don't expect to get that much with all those mods. You'll probably get more lookers than buyers. Mods are individual tastes, one person may like them, but the others may not. I'd say you'd be lucky to get over $10K with that, I hope I don't come across as crass, just check kbb.com, edmunds.com or nada.com and do some research there. I don't think anyone will pay extra for mods. Good luck on your sale though!

edit: you'd probably get more for your truck if you returned everything to stock and parted out all the mods, just my 2 cents worth.

    Welcome to TW!

Unfortunately, I agree with humanoid and AUDITECH. With all of those mods, you have to find the right person. Otherwise you aren't going to get your $15K out of it.

On a good note, if it is the truck in your avatar, IT LOOKS AWESOME! :D

yeah, truck looks great but i wouldn't buy a vehicle, truck or otherwise with a bunch of mods. its also a good indication that it was ragged out at one point, or used for alot of off road use. I think parting it out is the best idea. Good luck with the sale!
