Outgear solutions lead time 25 weeks and growing

I'm at 6 weeks now. I'm about to hit him up soon too since he claims 6-8 for the front prelander bumper. No excuses for him; no ship or powder coat.

 

Oh heck yeah, once I get my money back from Paypal I think I'm gonna buy the Relentless fab. The guy that owns Relentless was an OIT student, same place I went to college, so just on that fact alone I feel better about giving him my business. Plus they have a realistic stated lead time of 8 to 12 weeks. I might even do local pick-up just so I can say hi in person.

Anyone ever try small claims court? I'm pushing a year with my order and haven't heard from him since July. Been emailing, calling, and messaging on IG with no luck.. Too late to file any claims since he kept saying it would ship soon until he stopped replying.

 

I have zero dogs in this fight, but I just don't understand why people here keep sending this guy their money?

Yup same, they seemed like the best option for what I wanted and I didn't see any major red flags until after I ordered. Just very thankful I used a credit card through Paypal.

 

Just an FYI that there is an FTC rule that may help some of you out in getting money back.

I wrote to Joe yesterday. I asked him on status of my prelander bumper. He said that it will be ready by week 8, in two weeks. Let's see what happens.

 

How did you contact him? Guess he's just fully ignoring everyone else cause he hasn't replied to me since July...

 

Sent him an email to the info@ address.

 

I've heard stories of other being blocked so maybe I'm one of them.. I'm about to just book a flight and show up at his shop at this point.

 

Sucks to see this happen so often in the fab business world. If there's two things I've learned around here, its:
1. Don't buy from any company/business/individual that doesn't have the item in stock
and
2. Use a payment method that has your back, should you need to dispute the charge.

Unfortunately, that severely limits your choices, but beats being out your money AND the parts.

 

maybe you can find a local to make a visit for the cost of lunch? I’m not implying threatening, but if a guy shows up and says “Hey, Jimmy James asked me to stop by and check on order number 123.” It might send a message.

 

Tried that on another thread with no luck, but if any locals on here wanna stop by for me that'd be great! $$

The shipping company called me this morning. My bumper is being delivered tomorrow. But I still don't have any info on the latch/ dual jerry can holder. He said those will ship seperate...... kind of annoying because I need to get everything to powder coat. And what's the point of a damn swing out if I don't even have the latch...... so frustrating.

 

received the bumper and swing out. Didn't get the tire mount, jerry can holder. Latch, hardware. Etc..... he said that will be shipping seperate. Still no tracking on the rest of my order.....

 

Dang. That's terrible. It's pretty much useless till you can get everything else.
