Wonder whats going on that im getting a lot of outside air into the cab,
Having the AC on max and both the recirculation and ac lights are on.
Even turned the air off not blowing yet the recirc was light up.
Acting like the door is stuck open.
    What going on, any thoughts?

HOW if it was sealed would you get CO in the cab.

Im not talking about 100% sealed anyway, talking about a high enough transfer that you smell everything on the road and what you pass.
Plus something the other truck does not and this did not before a few weeks back.

I get what you are saying, if your recirculation light is on you normally wouldn't smell the diesel burner next to you at a stop light - at least I don't. I would imagine your circulation door isn't closing completely.

    no, just no

recirc you should get zero outside smells. mine is 100% diesel fume proof when on recirc

his rear vent may be blocked open, or a door seal is skewed, or the
air control door above the blower is not closing/rotating as it should

OP can open hood, remove cowl, look down onto the blower motor air filter
and activate recirc and see a door closing

Maybe you should learn the difference between carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide before you post and look stupid.

I did. You crawfishing about it later doesn't change the fact that post #2 was really stupid.

don't know if recirc isolates the cabin filter or not... so you may need to check it... it may not be sealing... or may be dirty... also do you have any holes in for aftermarket wiring in your grommets? those can let smells in

The cabin is not sealed. Go park it in deep water and you'll see what I mean. Under the shifter there is an 8" hole. There is another vent in the middle of the back of the cab, and several holes in the firewall open to the atmosphere. When I did my soundproofing I took great care to seal all of those holes, and I couldn't shut the door without rolling down a window. I opened up the vent at the back of the cab again. I rather enjoy skunk roadkill smells, and sealed the cab to prevent water intrusion more than anything.

newsflash. the tacoma is not so completely sealed that one can sit in there windows up door closed and consume so
much oxygen to cause delirium or unconsciousness from too much CO2. there ARE air gaps and outside air DOES ALWAYS
ENTER. you would need to disassemble the cabin and install special seals to make it so airtight someone could pass out

    LOLOLOLOLOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! man

oh yes heat could kill you
    CO can kill you

normal breathing, heavy breathing, in the absence of other factors
(heat/cold/co) no one is gonna pass out. goddamn... if this was a possibility
    the vehicle couldn't be sold.

DAFUQ is going on in here?

Anyway I think the OP is saying he's getting more outside air than what he should be.

When I put mine on recirculating I don't smell much if anything from out. I usually throw it on max air if I'm using the A/C if I get behind some DB rolling coal . Keeps out the smell.

Not sure OP. Could be the door is stuck lime you said. :notsure:
