2017 Tacoma TRD Offroad

Hi so I recently purchased a 2017 tacoma, its out of the warranty period for this, but i just realized the outside temp isnt being read or displayed on the console. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot or possibly replace the sensor?

Check to make sure sensor is plugged in. If they did any mods might have unplugged it. It should be about mid truck up in front of your radiator about halfway down near the ac condenser
