I am in the process of replacing my drivers side front wheel bearing and hub assembly, however when trying to dry fit the pieces together my outter wheel seal does not seem to seal on hub, it's almost an big in ID. Is this a classical case of wrong part? My old wheel bearing and seals are FUBAR so comparing comparing parts is a no go.

The parts i ordered from rockauto are
    Outter wheel seal #710477
    Inner wheel seal #710573

    Thanks

the outer seal( seal in between bearing and hub) should fit tight onto the outer bearing cage rim. It needs to be tapped on it fits so tight.
